The NHS needed connectivity from the new temporary hospital in the Principality Stadium to Global Link urgently and requested assistance. With the help of CK Communications the service is now live and this circuit is being used to provide NHS services from the Cardiff and Vale NHS network to front line staff at the new Dragon’s Heart Hospital in the Principality Stadium.
Case Study
CK Communications were selected to upgrade all of the Cardiff City Councils Controls rooms from analogue to IP. We selected AMG Systems to help digitise Cardiff City Councils traffic monitoring and CCTV Network. AMG and CK worked together to successfully move video and date to more than 30 separate monitoring locations.

CK Communications recently supported Welsh Hearts with a donation to the RCT Defibrillator Appeal Fund.
CCTV Main Contractors
We are now established as one of the main contractors for the support of the 4 year CCTV UTC Contract for Cardiff County Council. This system consists of traffic cameras, crime cameras and ANPR. In total 350 cameras to be maintained.
Upgrade of signals in Cardiff City Centre
CK Communications have secured works of ongoing upgrades of traffic signals out from copper network to customer owned fibre and ethernet circuits in Cardiff City Centre.
New Business Development Manager
CK Communications have taken on a Business Development Manager, Louise Prothero. Louise started her career in 2004 at IKON Solutions as Business Development Manager. Her move from here led her to work with the international leading Fashion hair brand Tigi as Area Sales Manager for 3 years. In 2008 she joined CACI International for four years, before adopting her role as Business Development Manager at CK Communications Ltd.
